Brilliant French Phrase
l’esprit d’escalier
Literally means “the spirit of the staircase”
It is a phrase that describes when someone comes up with a great comeback or retort to an insult, after it is needed (when you look back and think, “fuck, I should have said that”)
Okaaay, so despite it being really hard I’m trying to learn Tim Minchin - White Wine In The Sun (on piano :s ) lets see if it works aha
